Tour Details

Look a little further inland and discover the colorful lakes of Imotski including both Blue and Red Lakes. These lakes are some of Imotski’ s top tourist destinations and are commonly known as the ‘pearls of nature’ for the region. The Blue lake is truly remarkable here you will walk and hike down to the lake enjoying its lush green surroundings. Only 1km away from the Blue Lake is the Red Lake a phenomenal sinkhole, finally followed by some local wine tasting and traditional dalmatian delicacies at a renowned winery in the area.

Firstly, a 40-minute drive to Imotski and the first stop the Blue Lake. As the seasons change and spring melts away, the lake fills up with water giving its name Blue Lake, as the water dries up towards the end of summer the lake turns into a soccer pitch for the locals!
Followed by short drive to the Red Lake, this sinkhole is filled with water and is one of three largest in the world, its surroundings are remarkably high red colored cliffs. Extraordinarily it is impossible to approach the lake itself as a result of its high stone slopes that are surrounded.
Finally, a guided tour at Grabovac winery where you will taste a few wines paired with traditional delicious delicacies experiencing the indigenous grape varieties of the region.

Be prepared and enjoy the tour!
