Look a little further inland and discover the colorful lakes of Imotski including both Blue and Red Lakes. These lakes are some of Imotski’ s top tourist destinations and are commonly known as the ‘pearls of nature’ for the region. The Blue lake is truly remarkable here you will walk and hike down to the lake enjoying its lush green surroundings. |Firstly, a 40-minute drive to Imotski and the first stop the Blue Lake. As the seasons change and spring melts away, the lake fills up with water giving its name Blue Lake, as the water dries up towards the end of summer the lake turns into a soccer pitch for the locals!|
